I learned that:
-Kids had thing called a chamber door and a water basin and that was used as a bathroom because people didn't have bathrooms and so they used these things to replace them. -Instead of carpets they had a thing called lino that covered part of the floor because it was very unusual to have the whole floor covered. - And that they put tape on the windows so that when the armies bomb the area the windows wont break that much.

If I were there I would miss my nintendo DS, my dad's computer, the TV, space, and going outside safely.
I would not sleep well or comfortably because of the noise and I would be scared of the bombs. What I would like from the houses in the 1940's is all the old stuff (I like old stuff) and the shelters, this is all I would like from the houses in 1940's. |

A I would like to stay in the anderson house to see how boring it is. B I would miss my electronics,my bed,this computer i'm typing on,the t.v., and the sofa.
